BODIES RECOVERED NEAR COOCHBEHAR TEA ESTATE

Webdesk, TNI Mathabhanga, 10th November, 2015: Two unidentified throat-slit dead body were found near Coochbehar Tea Garden located in Mathabhanga Block near NH-31. This had lead to a temporary tension in the place. Lalu Oraon, the local Gram Panchayat member reported the incident to the police. Later the police took away the dead bodies. The bodies could not be identified till the reporting time. Toll Gate receipts of Assam – Bengal border were recovered from their pockets. The police assume that they are truck drivers going from Assam to Ahmedabad. A knife was also recovered from the spot. However, the vehicle was still untraced.
